The people of Israel had a clearer view of God than any people before them, for they had both His laws and His physical presence. Their refusal to follow God after witnessing His miraculous deeds and listening to His words made the judgment against them more severe.
As Jesus said:" when someone has been given much, much will be required in return". How much greater is our responsible to obey and serve God--we have the whole Bible, and we know God's Son, Jesus Christ.
When the Israelites realized their foolish mistake. They were suddenly ready to return to God. But God didnt confuse their admission of guilt with true repentance because He knew their hearts. Sure enough, they soon went their own way again. Sometimes right actions or good intentions come too late.
We musnt only do what is right, but also do it at the right time. God wants complete and instant obedience.

God told the israelites that the promised land was rich and fertile. Not only that, HE promised that this bountiful land would be theirs. When the scouts reported back to Moses, they gave plenty of good reasons for entering the land, but they cant stop focusing on their fear. Talk of giants and fortified cities made it easy to forget about God's promise to help.
When facing a though decision, dont let negatives cause you to lose sight of the positives. Weight both sides carefully. Don let potential difficulties blind you to God's power to help and HIS promise to guide.

Allah Sejati Mencipta Manusia, manusia mencipta pencipta yang dicipta.. Pdt. S. Tong
Yang mencipta manusia adalah Allah sejati, yang dicipta manusia adalah allah palsu.
Mengapa manusia mencipta allah palsu? karena kebutuhan dasar dan kerinduan hati manusia untuk menyembah. Penyelewengan manusia yang paling besar adalah menggunakan kreatifitas untuk mencipta sang pencipta palsu yang dicipta.
Allah sejati mencipta manusia yang mempunyai daya cipta, dari sebagian yang dicipta manusia menggunakan daya cipta dengan material yang dicipta, untuk mencipta pencipta yang dicipta, itulah pencipta yang palsu.
Manusia dicipta oleh Allah sejati menjadi Imam dan Raja supaya mengelola dunia dan bertanggungjawab kepada Allah sejati.
Kenapa Alkitab kita terima sebagai Kitab suci satu-satunya? Bukankah tiap agama juga memiliki kitab suci? Karena Alkitab adalah Kitab suci satu-satunya yang menunjuk dari titik permulaan dunia dijadikan hingga titik akhir dunia kiamat.
"Dengan ilah yang mana engkau membandingkan Aku? Akulah yang memulai dan yang menyempurnakan"
Kalau engkau mau hidup rukun dalam berbangsa dan bernegara, saling harus menghormati antara sesama? Toleransi kepada agama lain? Allah mu Allah sejati, allahku juga! Mereka mau kita melepaskan monotheisme.
Bila kita menyebut sembarang orang bapa, bapa kita yang sejati akan marah dan sakit hati. Kebenaran adalah mutlak, 2 tambah 2 adalah 4 tidak mungkin sekaligus 6 atau 8. kebebasan! Kerukunan beragama! Semua punya jawaban masing-masing?
Seorang guru bisa menilai jawaban ujian benar atau salah, tetapi jika ada anak murid yang tidak mau dikoreksi jawaban yang salah, murid itu bisa tidak sekolah supaya guru tidak dapat mengkoreksi. Banyak pendeta sekarang tidak mau dikoreksi, karena apa? Mereka tidak mau sekolah, supaya mereka bisa klaim ide mereka bermanfaat dan benar, dan orang lain tidak dapat mengkoreksi karena bukan guru, sama status. Kebenaran bukan seperti ini.

Allah Membebaskan kita untuk menyembah kepada Allah yang benar.
Kepada umatNya yang tertindas di dalam perbudakan di tanah Mesir, kuasa dan politik Firaun, membawa umat Israel masuk dalam penyembahan agama yang salah., Allah berfirman kepada Firaun 'Biarlah umatKu keluar untuk menyembahKu di padang belantara', bangsa Israel keluar dari tanah Mesir karena Tuhan memberi hak kebebasan beragama yang benar.
Orang sudah jatuh dalam dosa sering mengartikan kebebasan dengan bebas pilih semau kita sesuai apa yang dirasa sendiri baik.
Apakah benar Allah sejati hanya satu? Orang Kristen dinilai arogan, karena klaim Allah cuma satu, dimana toleransi beragama?
Jika Allah mengatakan 'Akulah Allah mu diluar Aku tidak ada allah lain, dihadapanKu tidak boleh menyembah allah yang lain' bagaimana kita boleh berpikir ada banyak allah? Ini adalah perintah kebebasan beragama untuk mengikat agama yang salah dan supaya kita setia hanya kepada Allah sejati.

Siapakah Sesamaku?.. William Hedriksen
Perumpaan tentang Orang Samaria yang baik.. Lukas 10,
Sebagian orang menafsirkan , orang yang berada dalam perjalanan dari Yerusalem menuju Yeriko mewakili Adam, kepala umat itu. Ia meninggalkan kota sorgawi dan pergi turun ke kota bumi, kota yang najis. Tetapi setelah mengalihkan keinginannya ke bumi, ia jatuh ketangan para perampok, yaitu ia disergap oleh iblis dan para malaikatnya yang jahat. Para perampok ini menelanjangi dia dari pakaian kebenarannya yang asali. Mereka juga memukulinya, meninggalkan dia penuh luka, setengah mati ( setengah mati dalam dosa dan pelanggaran! ).
Imam dan orang Lewi itu mewakili Hukum Taurat dan korban-korban persembahan. Mereka tidak dapat menolong.
Tetapi orang Samaria yang baik itu, yaitu Yesus Kristus, sedang bepergian ke sana dan menolong orang berdosa yang malang itu. Orang Samaria yang bai ini merawat luka-lukanya dengan minyak Roh Kudus dan dengan anggur, yaitu darah kasih sayangNya. Ia kemudian meletakan orang malang itu ke atas keledaiNya sendiri, yaitu, di atas jasa-jasa kebenaranNya sendiri. Ia membawa orang malang itu ke sebuah penginapan, yaitu Gereja.
Hari berikutnya, orang Samaria yang baik itu memberi pemilik penginapan itu dua dinar, yaitu Firma dan Sakramen, supaya dengan itu ia bisa menyediakan kebutuhan rohani orang berdosa yang malang itu. Kemudian orang Samaria yang baik ini pergi dan berjanji akan kembali lagi.
Siapakah sesamaku? Kita seharusnya menjadi sesama bagi siapa saja yang Tuhan tempatkan di jalan kita.

BEBAS itu Semau Gue??.. Pdt. S. Tong
Kita sering kali salah tafsir 'kebebasan' adalah sesuatu yang bersifat 'semau gue'. Tuhan menciptakan satu pria dan satu wanita, supaya dalam pernikahan manusia bebas menikmati sex seumur hidup dan terbebas dari sakit kelamin.
Bebas bukan berarti semau gue, bebas berarti saya dijamin didalam keamanan, kebahagiaan dan kesehatan dan perdamaian, itu adalah akibat kalau manusia taat akan hukum yang telah Tuhan berikan.
Ada orang bilang 'gerejamu tidak bebas! Di gereja ku ada kebebasan ; boleh teriak-teriak, bebas tepuk tangan, Alkitab bilang "dimana ada roh kudus , disitu ada kebebasan", jadi ada kebebasan mutlak bila ada roh kudus di gereja!'.
Apakah betul itu yang disebut kebebasan dengan roh kudus? Tentu saja tidak!
Coba ada dua orang itu memainkan 2 lagu berbeda pada waktu sama, walau tiap lagu itu sama indahnya mereka terdengar kacau balau karena tidak ada keharmonisan satu dengan yang lain. "orang menganggap aku mau apa yang aku mau itulah definisi kebebasan! Itu sama sekali tidak benar".
Mengapa arloji kadang sampai sebegitu mahal nilainya? Kadang arloji diciptakan spesial sampai terdiri lebih dari seribu parts terkait menjaga satu kebebasan melalui saling mengikat satu dengan yang lain, kalau ada roda parts yang semau dewe bekerja dan tidak bekerja, pasti fungsi arloji itu tidak akan normal.
Apa yang disebut kanker? Yaitu sebagian yang mau menonjol sendiri,.. Sebagian orang berpikir yang penting berkembang ,bertumbuh, ga perlu pusing kondisi orang lain,.. Yang dinamakan pertumbuhan itu harus stabil, seluruh bagian bertumbuh.
Motifasi Tuhan memberikan Taurat karena Tuhan mencintai kita.
Tuhan memberikan Turat bertujuan supaya manusia mencintai Tuhan, dan manusia mencintai sesama.

Hukum yang membebaskan.. Pdt. S. Tong
Orang Stoika sulit untuk menerima Tuhan Yesus karena mereka menganggap sudah paham hukum kasih, sudah cukup baik berperilaku dimata manusia tidak usah belajar lagi.
Orang Stoika mengajarkan berbuat baik, berdamai mengasihi sesama, hidup sederhana , persamaan hak antara pria dan wanita, kebijakan yang sangat baik dan anggun.
Seneca mengatakan, "Truth never make you rich, but truth set you free".
Yesus mengatakan, "kau harus mengetahui kebenaran, dan kebenaran akan membebaskan engkau".
Mengapa Tuhan memberikan Taurat seperti Sepuluh Hukum Allah? Bukankah itu berisi larangan yang membatasi, bagaimana mengatakan Hukum membebaskan?
Jawaban : Tanpa ikatan yang benar tidak ada kebebasan yang suci. tanpa ikatan, kebebasan akan berubah menjadi keliaran / kebuasan. Ikatan adalah sesuatu yang mutlak harus ada supaya hidup tetap dapat berjalan teratur dan harmoni. Kebebasan yang mengikat itu membuat kita terjamin didalam kebebasan yang beres.
Contoh : seorang perempuan sedang ditawari untuk makanan tambahan, otomatis akan menjawab 'tidak , terima kasih' , kenapa sungkan? Karena mereka mengerti filsafat kebebasan, yaitu jika makan terlalu bebas nanti jalan menjadi tidak bebas.
Sedang laki-laki banyak tidak mengerti, bila ditawari makanan yang lezat, makan lagi dan lagi. Dia makan sebebasnya, dan bila sudah gendut jalannya menjadi tidak bebas. Baru menerima akibat kebebasan yang tidak membebaskan.
Apa gunanya sabuk? Untuk mengikatkan? Sabuk ini gambaran Taurat, ditujukan untuk mengikat dan membatasi hidup yang benar, Namun Laki-laki berdalih sabuk itu banyak lubang supaya dapat di adjust sesuai kebutuhan saat itu.
Orang yang sekarang berada dibalik penjara, karena dulu hidup terlalu bebas. Orang yang hidup mengikat diri seperti tidak ada kebebasan mutlak, dia boleh pergi kemana mau tanpa batasan, karena dia mengetahui ikatan mendatangkan kebebasan. Untuk itu bila kita sadar, kita sepatutnya bersyukur karena Tuhan menurunkan Taurat, hukum yang membebaskan.
Kalau jalan raya tidak dibatasi dengan rambu lalu lintas seperti lampu merah, apakah jalan menjadi lebih bebas? Lebih bebas masuk kuburan. Rambu lalu lintas harus ada untuk menjaga kita membebaskan kita dari maut.
Allah yang rela membatasi diri adalah panutan yang adil. Kita tidak mau dipimpin oleh pemimpin yang membuat aturan namun pemimpin itu tidak menjalankan hukum itu sendiri. Hukum kebenaran itu mengikat kita, itu sebab nampak Allah yang membebaskan kita seperti diikat oleh kebajikan Allah sendiri, diikat oleh kesucian dan cinta kasih dan semua aspek atribut Allah.

God's glory is revealed to Moses.. Exo34
Moses wanted to see God's glory. Because we are finite and morally imperfect, we cannot exist and see God as He is. But this was God's response. What is God's glory? It is His character, His nature, His way of relating to His creatures. Notice that God didnt give Moses a vision of His power and majesty, but rather of His love.
God's glory is revealed in His mercy, grace, compassion, faithfulness, forgiveness, and justice. God's love and mercy are truly wonderful, and we benefit from them. We can respond and give glory to God when our character resemble His.
To see God from behind means wa can only see where God has passed by. We can only know Him by what He does and how He acts. We cannot comprehend God as He really is a part from Jesus Christ. Jesus promised to show Himself to those who love Him.

Two popular Egyptian gods, Hapi and Hathor, were thought of as a bull. The Canaanites around them worshiped baal. Baal was their sacred symbol of power and fertility and was closely connected to immoral sexual practices. No doubt the Israelites, fresh from Egypt, found it quite natural to make a gold calf to represent the god that had just delivered them from their oppressors. They were weary of a god without a face. But in doing so, they were ignoring the command HE had just given them, "you must not make your self an idol of any kind". They may even have thought they were worshiping god. Their apparent sincerity was no subtitute for obidience or excuse for disobedience.
Even if we do not make idols, we are often guilty of trying to make God in our image, molding Him to fit our expectations, desires, and circumtances. Even if we do not make idols, we are often guilty of trying to make God in our image, molding Him to fit our expectations, desires, and circumtances. The Lamb of God.. Exo24
To understand this unusual covenant ratification ceremony, we need to understand the bible's view of sin and forgiveness. God is the sovereign jugde of the universe. He is also absolutely holy. As the holy judge of all, He condemns sin and judges it worthy of death.
In the old Testament God accepted the death of an animal as a subtitute for the sinner. The animal's shed blood was proof that one life had been given for another. So in the one hand, blood symbolized the life that was spared as a result. Of course the death of the animal that brought forgiveness in the old Testament was only a temporary provision, looking forward to the death of Jesus Christ.
In this ceremony described here, Moses sprinkled half the blood from the sacrificed animals on the altar to show that the sinner could once again approach God because something had died in his place. He sprinkled the other half of the blood on the people to show that the penalty for their sin had been paid and they could be reunited with God. Though this symbolic act God's promises to Israel were reaffirmed, and lessons are taught to us about the future sacrificial death (atonement) of Jesus Christ.

His First Commandment.. Exo20
The Israelites had just come from Egypt, a land of many idols. Because each god represented a different aspect of life , it was common to worship many gods in order to get maximum numbers of blessings.
When God told His people to worship and believe in Him, thats wasnt so hard for them--he was just one more god to add to the list. But when He said, 'you mustnt have any other god but Me', that was difficult for the people to accept. But if they didnt learn that God who led them out of Egypt wad the only true God, they couldnt be His people--no matter how faithfully they kept the other nine commandments. Thus, God made this His first commandment.
Today we can allow many things to become gods to us. Money, fame, work, or pleasure can become gods when we concentrate too much on them for personal identity, meaning, and security. No one sets out with the intention of worshiping these thing. But by the ammount of time we devote to them, they can grow into gods that ultimately control our thoughts and energies.
Letting God hold the central place in our lives keeps these things from turning into gods.

The Only True God.. Exo10
As each gloomy plague descended upon the land, the Egyptian people realized how powerless their own gods were to stop it.
Hapi, the god of Nile river, could not prevent the waters from turning to blood.
Hathor, the crafty cow-goddess, was helpless as Egyptian livestock died in droves.
Amon-Re, the sun-god and chief of the Egyptian gods, could not stop an eerie darkness from covering the land for three full days.
The Egyptian gods were ; not personal, centering around images like the sun or the river; numerous ; not exclusive ( any and all could be worshiped ).
By contrast, the God of the Hebrews was ; a living personal Being ; the only true God ; the only God who should be worshiped.
God was proving to both the Hebrews and the Egyptian that HE alone is the living and all-powerfull God.

Pharaoh (satan) 'wise' advise.. Exo9
Do it tomorrow,.. Dont worry there are pleanty of time and chances, have a great time with your youth,
But do it here in this land,.. Dont have to leave your 'small' sin, after all we are chosen isnt by our deeds but only by grace,
Only men can go and worship the Lord your God,.. It doesnt really matter at all to teach your family (women and children), they are just follower,
Go and worship the Lord, but leave your flocks and herds,.. Are you going crazy?!? To leave the wealth and pleasure what the world can give you , just for a God whom you ever can see and touch.
God gave Pharaoh many oppurtunities to heed Moses' warnings. But finally God seemed to say, "all right, Pharaoh, have it your way" and Pharaoh's heart and overrule his free will?
No, HE simply confirmed that Pharaoh freely chose a life of resisting God. Similary, after a lifetime of resisting God, you may find it impossible to turn to HIM.
Dont wait until just the right time before turning to God. Do it now while you still have the chance. If you continually ignore God's voice, eventually you will be unable to hear it at all.

Pray until something happen??.. Pdt. S. Tong
Doktrin of Prayer, doa itu ya minta apa aja sama Tuhan, teriak sekeras mungkin dan doa yang berapi-api? Omong kosong! Justru condong kurang ajar! Bayangkan jika engkau sedang menghadap presiden, lalu engkau bilang 'presiden tolong, kerjakan ini, kerjakan itu?' Lalu presiden akan menuruti maumu? Tidak! Presiden bisa panggil polisi untuk tertibkan kamu!
Conto lagi andai engkau bertemu dengan Tuhan Yesus, engkau langsung berkata 'ooh Tuhan tolong! Aku beriman, sekarang juga sembuhkan saya!' Tuhan mungkin akan menjawab 'ehhh siapa kamu? berani memerintah Tuhan? Itu bukan doa, itu memaksa Allah dengan kegilaan emosi yang tidak terkontrol! Itu persis doa nabi palsu adalah doa yang paling ngotot, conto doa dari nabi baal, berteriak sambil menoreh-noreh tubuhnya hingga berlumuran darah, supaya lekas didengar oleh baal, lalu apakah baal bisa mengabulkan dengan mengirim api? Tidak!
Nabi Elia berdiri dipinggir berkata 'hey, kurang keras (nubuat palsu bikin malu para nabi palsu), allah mu tuli? allah mu lagi pergi? allah mu lagi ke wc? sementara tidak dengar? Keras lagi sedikit, para nabi baal betul-betul semangkin keras berteriak.. Tetap tidak ada suatu terjadi.
Lalu Elia berkata 'all the people of Israel,come to me',
(Orang-orang baru sadar dan kecewa ternyata nabi baal itu palsu, hanya menyatakan kegiatan manusia untuk memaksa Allah, mereka kira penyembahan yang makin tidak masuk akal adalah yang makin rohani.)
Lanjut Elia berkata 'God, the Lord of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, show to that people that You are God, and show to them also, i'm Your Prophet'
(Dengan ketenangan, kesungguhan hati dan doktrin yang benar yaitu mengutamakan kemuliaan Tuhan, Elia memanjatkan doa, dan Allah mengabulkan doa Elia, karena doa Elia sejalan dengan rencana Allah).
Sebelum Allah menjawab doa, Elia terlebih dahulu mempersembahkan korban air yang dikucurkan ke tanah yang pada jaman itu sangat bernilai melebihi emas dan permata, mungkin menurut orang yang melihat itu adalah tindakan gila, karena air yang terakhir seharusnya disimpan untuk raja, buat apa pemborosan? Elia teguh mempersembahkan yang terutama untuk pekerjaan Tuhan. Kemudian setelah air habis, Elia memohon supaya api turun, bukan instan minta air hujan (hal yang paling dibutuhkan umat, melainkan mengutamakan hal kemuliaan Tuhan/ konfirmasi dari rencana Tuhan).
Banyak orang kaya dukung pendeta yang tidak beres, karena apa? Karena hidupnya seperti berkembang, hidupnya seperti berbuah, sukses dan lancar seperti mereka diberkati makin oleh Tuhan? Ingat setan juga menawarkan kekayaan dan kuasa yang ujungnya adalah maut.

Allah menyesal??... Pdt. S. Tong
Kejadian pasal 6 konteksnya Allah yang menjadikan manusia kok bisa kaget? bukankah Allah yang kita sembah adalah Allah Yang Maha Kuasa?
Istilah kaget dalam bahasa lain bisa berarti juga menyesal, kaget berarti tidak tahu, dulu tidak tahu sekarang sadar.
Kenapa Allah kaget? waduh kok begini ya? Apakah Allah tidak tahu? Allah tentu tahu!
Kenapa Allah menyesal? Waduh kenapa kok begitu? Dulu mustinya saya jangan cipta manusia, sudah cipta manusia sekarang saya menyesal. Allah menyesal/ Allah kaget membuktikan dulu Allah tidak tahu akan nanti bisa jadi begini.. Apakah tafsiran itu benar? Tidak benar!
Allah menyesal/ Allah kaget ini semua adalah refleksi dari suatu emosi. Emosi Allah adalah dasar dari emosi manusia. manusia dicipta menurut peta dan teladan Allah, jadi apa yang mungkin kita nyatakan, misalnya senang, susah, sedih, menyesal, benci, semua ada didalam diri Allah, cuma perbedaanya adalah arah Allah berbeda sama kita.
Kalau kita benci, kita membenci orang, Allah benci, Allah benci dosa.
Kalau kita senang, senang materi, Allah senang, karena manusia hidup berkenan kepada Dia.
Jadi semua emosi kita harus di setting ulang supaya sinkron dengan Sifat Ilahi.
Lewat Pengkudusan Emosi, kita dapat sedikit mengerti kenapa Allah kaget/ menyesal.
Sekarang saudara ada didepan saya bukan? saya sekarang menghadap saudara bukan? Tetapi waktu saya berputar sedikit, saya merasa semua kok meninggalkan saya, semua seperti berputar, semua berubah ya? Sekarang kamu tidak setia sama saya, kamu tidak menghargai saya? Lalu saya berteriak kenapa meninggalkan aku? Kenapa pergi kebelakangku? Engkau akan jawab, kamu gila ya, kamu yang puter, ngerti maksud saya?
Jadi Allah menyesal artinya apa? Allah menyesal berarti manusia sudah berpaling dari Dia, akibatnya Allah tidak lagi menikmati hubungan baik dengan manusia, tetapi dari sudut manusia, Allah sudah berubah.
Kenapa Allah musti memakai istilah menyesal, menyesal berarti suatu perasaan yang paling sedih, tapi tidak bisa ditolong. Allah sedih sekali melihat manusia telah mempergunakan kebebasan yang telah diberikan untuk melawan Dia, dan menjadi kurang ajar. Bukan berarti Allah seperti kita tidak tahu bisa terjadi, trus jadi tidak berdaya, nangis menyesal.
Arti kedua dari menyesal yaitu Allah harus berubah dari mengasihi menjadi menghakimi.
Allah menyesal lalu Allah tidak lagi menurunkan penghukuman kepada orang niniwe seperti yang telah Dia sabdakan melalui Yunus. Lohh, jadi Allah berubah ya?
Engkau bilang Allah tidak berubah? Allah tidak berubah, manusia berubah! Tetapi relasi itu membuat kita mengerti seperti Allah berubah.
Sama seperti waktu saya berputar, saya kira kamu yang berubah, padahal yang berubah saya, demikian Allah tidak berubah karena, kita yang berubah , setelah berubah kita berbalik melawan Allah, menjadi berontak kepada Allah, maka cinta Allah tidak lagi datang kepada kita, yang datang adalah kemarahan Allah.
Contoh lain waktu saya berada di suatu sungai yang menurun, Waktu saya turun ikut arus sungai, saya merasa lancar sekali dan sangat cepat, sebentar saja sudah jauh. sudah ketemu orang dibawah sekarang mau pulang ke atas, mudik, waktu mau pulang baru tau rasa waduh beratnya. tadi gampang sekali waktu turun, susah payah cuma hasil sedikit. lalu saya bilang sungai, sungai engkau telah menyesal, tadi engkau membantu saya sekarang berbalik melawan saya, sungai bilang ga salah ahh, yang gila kamu, tadi kamu mengikuti arusku , sekarang engkau melawan arusku, waktu engkau bilang sungai engkau telah berubah, engkau tidak berlaku konsisten kepadaku, seperti bilang Tuhan dulu engkau mengasihi kami sekarang Tuhan menghukum kami, artinya Tuhan menyesal. Manusia perlu bertobat dan kembali ke jalan Tuhan.

satan imitate miracles.. Exo7
God performed a miracle by turning Aaron's staff into a serpent, and Pharaoh's magicians did the same through trickery or sorcery.
Although miracles can help us to believe, it is dangerous to rely on them alone. Satan can imitate some parts of God's work and lead people astray.
God dramatically turned the water of the Nile into blood to show Pharaoh who He was. Do you sometimes wish for a miraculous signs so you can be sure about God?
God has given you the miracle of eternal life through your faith in HIM, something Pharaoh never obtained. This a quiet miracle and, though less evident right now, just as extraordinary as water turned to blood.
The desire for spectacular signs may cause us to ignore the more subtle miracles God is working everyday.
Although miracles can help us to believe, it is dangerous to rely on them alone. Satan can imitate some parts of God's work and lead people astray.
God dramatically turned the water of the Nile into blood to show Pharaoh who He was. Do you sometimes wish for a miraculous signs so you can be sure about God?
God has given you the miracle of eternal life through your faith in HIM, something Pharaoh never obtained. This a quiet miracle and, though less evident right now, just as extraordinary as water turned to blood.
The desire for spectacular signs may cause us to ignore the more subtle miracles God is working everyday.

Keselamatan hanya didalam Kristus, salib Kristus, kematian Kristus, darah Kristus.
Jikalau tidak ada keselamatan, tidak ada penebusan, buat apa rajin ke gereja?
Hanya ingin belajar hidup baik/ belajar moral, bukankah dengan baca dari buku kita bisa belajar moral.
Injil diberitakan dalam mimbar gereja, Roh Kudus membakar hati kita,
Pemberitaan injil adalah perbedaan orang kristen dengan agama lain,
Berbuah roh kudus /tidak, suci /tidak, mengasihi jiwa /tidak, memberitakan injil /tidak , meninggikan salib /tidak, back to gospel.
Orang yang dipenuhi Roh Kudus pasti suka dan melaksanakan kesucian,
Karena Roh Kudus adalah roh yang suci,
Banyak yang tidak bertanggung jawab memakai kata-kata buah Roh Kudus,
Bukankah mereka sudah ikut persekutuan, bukankah sekarang mereka menikmati sukacita,
Itu seringkali adalah buah kenajisan. Buah Roh Kudus adalah buah yang dapat menyatakan cinta dan sukacita dari Tuhan mengalir kepada manusia ,dan mereka pasti tidak sembarangan mengumbar nafsunya.

Presistance .. Exo5
Pharaoh wont listen to Moses and Aaron because he didnt know or respect God. People who dont know God maynt listen to HIS Word or HIS Messengers. Like Moses and Aaron, we need to presist. When others reject you or your faith, dont be surpriced or discouraged. Continue to tell them about God, trusting HIM to open minds and soften stubborn hearts.

Apakah Anugrah Allah Mendisiplin Saya?.. J. Bridges
Ujilah dirimu sendiri, apakah kamu tetap tegak didalam iman. Selidikilah dirimu! Apakah kamu tidak yakin akan dirimu, bahwa Kristus Yesus ada didalam diri kamu? Sebab jika tidak demikian , kamu tidak tahan uji.. 2Korintus 13:5.
Berusahalah sungguh-sungguh, supaya panggilan dan pilihanmu makin teguh. Sebab jikalau kamu melakukannya, kamu tidak akan pernah tersandung.. 2Petrus 1:10.
Apakah anda sungguh-sungguh beriman kepada Yesus Kristus sebagai juru selamat anda tanpa secara mental menambahkan kebaikan anda sendiri? Apakah ada bukti bahwa anda telah mati terhadap kuasa dosa melalui persatuan dengan Yesus Kristus? Apakah anugrah Allah bekerja didalam diri anda untuk mendisiplin atau melatih anda sehingga anda bertumbuh secara rohani? Jika jawaban anda yang sejujurnya adalah 'tidak', maka saya mendorong anda untuk datang kepadaNYA dan percaya kepada FirmanNYA bahwa "barang siapa datang kepadaKU, ia tidak akan kubuang".
Biarlah saya memperjelasnya lagi disini. Kita tidak mengejar pertumbuhan rohani atau bukti pendisiplinan Allah demi memperoleh keselamatan. Sebaliknya, pendisiplinan Allah dalam hidup kita dan keinginan kita yang selemah apa pun untuk bertumbuh , adalah bukti pasti bahwa kita sudah menerima karunia keselamatan Allah oleh iman.

Keselamatan tak terpisahkan dengan Disiplin.. J. Bridges
Allah tidak pernah menyelamatkan orang, lalu meninggalkan mereka untuk melanjutkan hidup yang tidak dewasa dan berdosa. Orang yang diselamatkanNYA, didisiplinkanNYA pula. Filipi 1:6 "IA, yang memulai pekerjaan yang baik diantara kamu, akan meneruskannya sampai pada akhirnya pada hari Kristus Yesus".
Pemikiran ini memberi dorongan sekaligus menuntut perhatian serius kita. Memberi dorongan karena menjamin pertumbuhan rohani kita tidak diserahkan kepada inisiatif kita, juga tidak bergantung kepada hikmat kita untuk mengetahui di wilayah mana dan ke arah mana kita harus bertumbuh. Sebaliknya, Allah sendirilah yang memulai dan mengarahkan pertumbuhan rohani kita. Hal ini bukan berarti kita tidak bertanggung jawab untuk menanggapi pelatihan rohani Allah, Bapa kita, dalam hidup kita. Hal ini berarti Dialah yang bertanggung jawab melatih kita.
Pada saat bersamaan, tak terpisahnya anugrah Allah dengan disiplin rohani merupakan kebenaran yang menuntut perhatian serius kita. Kita hanya perlu melongok dunia kekristenan, khususnya di USA untuk mendapati sejumlah besar orang yang mengaku sudah pernah beriman kepada Kristus tetapi nampaknya belum mengalami pendisiplinan anugrah apapun. Mereka mungkin pernah menanggapi tantangan keselamatan dengan maju ke depan, menulis di kartu komitmen, bahkan memanjatkan doa pertobatan, tetapi anugrah sepertinya tidak mendidik mereka untuk meninggalkan kefasikan dan keinginan duniawi, apalagi untuk menjalani hidup yang bijaksana, adil, dan beribadah. Pada hakikatnya, hidup mereka hari ini tidak berbeda dengan sebelum mereka beriman kepada Kristus.
Ibrani 12:8 "jikalau kamu bebas dari ganjaran, yang harus diderita setiap orang, maka kamu bukanlah anak, tetapi anak-anak gampang". Dan Yesus sendiri berkata, "bukan setiap orang yang berseru kepadaKU: Tuhan, Tuhan! Akan masuk ke dalam kerajaan Sorga, melainkan dia yang melakukan kehendak BapaKU yang di sorga"(Matius 7:21). Ahli waris hidup kekal bukanlah mereka yang membuat pengakuan pertobatan, melainkan mereka yang hidupnya menjadi bukti nyata pelatihan Allah, Bapa kita.

God Takes Joy in Using Ordinary Things for Extraordinary Purposes.. Exo4
A shepherd's staff was commonly wooden rod with a curved hook at a top. The shepherd used it for walking, guiding his sheep, killing snake, and many other tasks. Still, it was just a stick. But God used the simple shepherd's staff Moses carried as a sign to teach him an important lesson.
What are the ordinary things in your life--your voice, a pen, a hammer, a broom, a musical instrument? While it is easy to assume God can use only a special skills, you must not hinder HIS use of everyday constributions you can make. Little did Moses imagine the power his simple staff would wield when it became the staff of God.

The Egyptians had many gods by many different names. Moses wanted to know God's name so the Hebrew people would know exactly who had sent him to them. God called himself I AM, a name describing HIS eternal power and unchangeable character. In a world where values, morals, and laws change constantly, we can find stability and security in our unchanging God. The God who appeared to Moses is the same God who can live in us today. Hebrew13 says Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Because God's nature is stable and trustworthy, we are free to follow and enjoy HIM rather than spend our time trying to figure HIM out.

Did God bless the Hebrew midwives for lying to Pharaoh?.. Exo1
God bless them not because they lied, but because they saved the lives of innocent children. This doesnt mean that a lie was necesserily the best way to answer Pharaoh. The midwives were blessed, however, for not violating the higher law of God that forbids the senseless slaughter of innocent lives.
Against Pharaoh's order, the midwives spared the Hebrew babies. Their faith in God gave them the courage to take a stand for what they knew was right. In this situation, disobeying the authority was proper. God doesnt expect us to obey those in authority when they ask us to disobey HIM or HIS Word.
The Bible is filled with examples of those who were willing to sacrifice their very lives in order to obey God or save others, Esther, Mordecai, Daniel, Shadrach, meshach and Abednego are some of the people who took a bold stand for what was right.
Whole nations can be caught up in immorality; thus following the majority or the authority isnt always right. Whenever we are ordered to disobey God's Word, we must obey God rather than any human authority.

God is Sovereign, HIS Plan arent Dictated by Human Action.. Gen45
Although Joseph's brothers had wanted to get rid of him, God used even their evil plan. HE had sent Joseph ahead to preserve their lives, save Egypt, and prepare the way for the beginning of the nation of Israel.
When others intend evil toward you, remember that they are only God's tools.
Joseph had been rejected, kidnapped, enslaved, and imprisoned. Although his brothers had been unfaithful to him, he graciously forgave them and shared his prosperity.
Joseph demonstrated how God forgives us and showers us with goodness even though we have sinned against him. The same forgiveness and blessings are ours if we ask for them.

As youngster, Joseph self-assurance, molded by pain and combined with a personal knowledge of God, allowed him to survive and prosper where most would have failed. He added quiet wisdom to his confident and won the hearts of everyone he met.
He endured a long imprisonment and was forgotten by those he helped. His positive response transformed each setback into a step foward. He didnt spend much timeasking why. His approach was "what shall i do now?" Those who met Joseph were aware that wherever he went and whatever he did, God was with him.
When you're facing a setback, the beginning of a Joseph-like attitude is to acknowledge that God is with you.

God reminded Jacob of his new name, Israel, which meant "one who struggles with God" although Jacob's life was littered with difficulties and trials, his new name was a tribute to his desire to stay close to God despite life's disappointment.
Many people believe that Christianity should offer a problem--free life. Cosequently, as life gets tough, they draw back disappointed. Instead, they should determine to prevail with God through life's storms. Problem and difficulties are painful but inevitable; you might as well see them oppurtunities for growth. You can prevail with God unless you have troubles to prevail over.

In seeking revenge against Shechem, Simeon and levi lied, stole and murdered. Their desire for justice was right, but their ways of achieving it were wrong. Because of their sin, their father cursed them with his dying breath. Generations later, their descendants lost the part of the Promised Land allotted to them. Give Yourself to ME in Thanksgiving, not as payment.. Gen30
Rachel's attempts to earn the unearnable are a picture of a much greater error we can make. Like her, we find ourselves trying somehow to earn love--God's love. But apart from HIS Word, we end up with false ideas. Either we think we've been good enough to deserve HIS Love or we recognize that we arent able to earn it and assume that it cannot be ours. If the Bible makes no other point, it shouts this one; God loves us! HIS Love had no beginning and is incredibly patient. All we need to do is respond, not try to earn what is freely offered.
God has said in many ways, "I love you. I have demonstrated that love to you by all i've done for you. Gain Own Personal Relationship or fall into treated God like a servant.. Gen28
God's covenant promise to Abraham and Isaac was offered to Jacob as well. But it was not enough to be Abraham's grandson ; Jacob had to establish his own personal relationship with God. God has no grandchildren ; each person must have a personal relationship with HIM.
Its not enough to hear wonderful stories about Christians in you family, you need to become part of the story yourself.
Was Jacob trying to bargain with God? Its possible that he, in his ignorance of how to worship and serve God, treated God like a servant who would perform a service for a tip. More likely, Jacob was not bargaining but pledging his future to God. He may have been saying, " because YOU have blessed me, i will follow YOU."

Consequences of Deceitful.. Gen27
Jacob hesitated when he heard Rebekah's deceitful plan. Although he questioned it for the wrong reason (fear of getting caught), he protested and thus gave her one last chance to reconsider. But rebekah had become so wrapped up in her plan that she no longer saw clearly what she was doing. Sin had trapped her and was degrading her character.

3) he was deceived by his uncle, Laban;
4) his family became torn by strife;
5) Esau became founder of an enemy nation;
6) he was exiled from his family for years, ironically, Jacob would have received the birthright and blessing anyway.
Imagine how different his life would have been had he and his mother waited for God to work his way. In HIS time.

Pairs of every animal joined Noah in the boat, scholars have estimated that almost 45000 animals could have fit into the boat, many have wondered how this animal kingdom roundup happened. Did Noah and his sons spend years collecting all the animals? In reality the creation, along with Noah, was doing just as God had commanded. There seemed to be no problem gathering the animals--God took care of the details of that job while Noah was doing his part by building the boat.
Often we do the opposite of Noah. We worry about details over which we have no control, while neglecting specific areas (such as attitudes, relationships, responsibilities) that are under our control. Like Noah, concentrate on what God has given you to do, and leave the rest to God.

Bagaimana aku bisa mendamaikan keadilan dengan pengampunan? .. C.R.Swindoll
Pada saat Abraham menghadapi dilema pastilah sangat kebingungan ketika Tuhan menyuruhnya meletakan anak tunggalnya di atas mesbah untuk menjadikan korban persembahan. Disini terlihat seakan-akan ketaatan adalah musuh dari pengampunan.
Bagaimana engkau mendamaikan keadilan dengan pengampunan? Mengapa engkau harus mendamaikan dua orang yang bersahabat?! Bagi Tuhan, keduanya tidak pernah bermusuhan. Mereka jadi tampak seperti itu karena kita tidak melihat apa yang Tuhan lihat.
Apakah kau ingat apa yang dilakukan oleh Abraham?
Itu adalah pertanyaan yang bisa dijawab oleh seorang anak kecil. " ia mematuhi perintah Tuhan "

Doubt .. Makes you question God's word and His goodness ;
Adam and Eve failed to heed God's warning, they didnt understand the reasons for His command, so they chose to act in another way that looked better for them to them. All of God's commands are for our own good, but we may not always understand the reasons behind them, people who trust God will obey because God asks them, whether or not they understand why God commands it.
Discouragement .. Makes you look at your problems rather than at God ;
Adam and Eve hid from God when they heard Him approaching. God wanted to be with them, but because of their sin, their afraid to show themselves. Sin had broken their close relationship with God, just as is has broken ours. But Jesus Christ, God's Son, open the way for us to renew our fellowship with Him. God longs to be with us. He actively offers us His unconditional love, our natural response is fear because we feel we cant live up to His standards. But understanding that He loves us, regardless of our faults can help remove that dread.
Diversion .. Makes the wrong things seem attractive so that you will want them more than the right things ;
Satan tried to make Eve think sin is good, pleasent and desirable. A knowledge of both good and evil seemed harmless to her. People usually choose wrong things because they have become convinced that those things are good, at leads for themselves and the hardest to avoid. So prepare yourself for the attractive temptations that may come your way. Use God's word to help you stand against it.
Delay .. Makes you put off doing something so that it never gets done ;
When God asked Adam about his sin, Adam blame Eve, then Eve blame the serpent. How easy it is to excuse our sins by blaming someone else or circumstances. But God knows the truth, and He holds each of us responsible for what we do. Admit your wrong attitudes and actions and apologize to God start from now on.
Defeat .. Makes you feel like a failure so that you will want them more than the right things ;
Satan is our enemy. He will do anything he can to get us to follow his evil, deadly path. The phrase "you will strike His heel" refers to satan's repeated attempts to defeat Christ during His life on earth. "He will strike your head" foreshadows satan's defeat when Christ rose from the dead. A strike on heel isnt deadly, but ablow to the head is. Already God was revealing His plan to defeat satan and offer salvation to the world through His Son, Jesus Christ.

You will be like God.. Gen3
Satan used a sincere motive to tempt Eve :"you will be like God" . It wasnt wrong and it is humanity's highest goal. It is what we are supposed to do. But satan misled Eve concerning the right way to accomplish this goal. he told her that she could become more like Godby defying God's authority, by taking God's place and deciding for herself what best for her life. In effect, he told her to become her own god.
But to become like God isnt the same as trying to become God. Rather, it is to reflect His characteristics and to recognize His authority over your life. Like Eve, we often have a worthy goal but try to achieve it in the wrong way. We act like political candidate who pays off an election judge to be voted into office. When he does this, serving the people is no longer his highest goal.
Self exaltation leads to rebellion againts God. As soon as we begin to leave God out of our plan, we are placing ourselves above Him. This is exactly what satan wants us to do.

Why would God place a tree in the garden and then forbid Adam to eat from it? God wanted Adam to obey, but God gave Adam the freedom to choose.
Without choise, Adam would have been like a prisoner, and his obedience would have been hollow. The two trees provided an exercise in choise, with rewards for choosing to obey and sad consequences for choosing to disobey. When you are faced with the choise, always choose to obey God.

The bible doesnt discuss the subject of evolution. Rather, its worldview assumes God created the world. The biblical view of creation isnt conflict with science; rather, its in conflict with any world view that start without creator.
Equally commited and sincere Christians have struggled with the subject of beginnings and come to differing conclusions. This, of course, is to be expected because the evidence is very old and due to the ravages of the ages, quite fragmented. Student of the bible and of science should avoid polarizations and black / white thinking. Student of the bible must be careful not to make the bible say what it doesnt say, and student of science must not make science say what it doesnt say.
The most important aspect of the continuing discussion isnt the process of creation, but the origin of creation. The world isnt a product of blind chance and probability; God created it.
The bible not only tells us that the world was created by God; more impotant, it tells us who this God is. It reveals God's personality, His character, and His plan for His creation. It also reveals God's deepest desire; to relate to and fellowship with the people He created. God took the ultimate step toward fellowship with us through His historic visit to this planet in the person of His Son Jesus Christ. We can know in a very personal way this God who created the universe.
The heavens and the earth are here. We are here. God created all that we see and experience. The book of Genesis begins, " God created the heavens and the earth."

The dragon, the beast out of the sea, and the beast out of the earth--together, they form unholy trinity.
When satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness and was plan to rule the world through Jesus, but Jesus refused to do satan's bidding.
Thus, satan turns to the fearsome beasts described in Revelation. To the beast out of the sea satan gives political power. To the beast out of the earth satan gives power to do miracles. Both beasts work together to capture the control of the whole world.
This unholy trinity unite in a desperate attempt to overthrow God, but their effort are doomed to failure.
Because the beast, the antichrist, is a false messiah, he will be counterfeit of Christ and will even stage a false resurrection.
People will follow and worship him because they will be awed by his power and miracles. he will unite the world under his leadership, and will control the world economy. People are impressed by power and will follow those who display it forcefully or offer it to their followers.
But those who follow the beast will only be fooling themselves: he will use his power to manipulate others, to point to himself, and to promote evil plans. God, by contrast, use His infinitely greater power to love and to build up.
Dont misled by claims of great miracles or reports about a resurrection or reincarnation of someone claiming to be Christ. When Jesus returns, He will reveal Himself to everyone.

People dont usually fall into immorality and evil suddenly--they slip into it bit at a time until, hardly realizing what has happened, they are irrevocably mired in their wicked ways. Any person who allows sin to take a root in his life will end up in this predicament.
Temptation entertained today becomes sin tomorrow, a habit the next day, then death and separation from God forever.
To think you could never become this evil is the first step toward a hard heart. Acknowledge your need to confess your sin before God.

False teachers claimed to possess secret knowledge that give them authority. Their 'knowledge' of God was esoteric (mystical & beyond human understanding).
The nature of God is beyond our understanding, but God in HIS Grace, has chosen to reveal himself to us ( in HIS Word & supremely in Jesus Christ). Therefore, we must seek to know all we can about what HE has reveald, even though we cannot fully comprehend God with our finite human minds.
Before of those who claim to have all the answers & who belittle what they dont undestand.

Even some of our churches today have a false ("ungodly") teachers who have "wormed" their way in and are twisting the Bible's teachings to justify their own opinions, life style, or wrong behavior. In doing this, they may gain temporary freedom to do their wish.
But they will discover that in distorting Scripture they are playing with fire. God will judge them for excusing, tolerating, and promoting sin.
Many first-century false teachers were teaching thant Christian could do whatever they liked without fear of God's punishment. They had a light view of God's holiness and His justice.
Even today, some Christians minimize the sinfulness of sin, believing that how they live has little to do with their faith. But what a person trully believes will show up in how he acts.
Those who truly have faith will show it by their deep respect for God and their sincere desire to live according to the principles in His Word.

Some people hope that they will receive eternal life. John says we can know have it.our certainty is based on God's promise that He has given us eternal life through His Son. This is true whether you feel close to God or far away from Him.
Eternal life is not based on feelings but on facts. You can know that you have eternal life if you believe God's truth. If you arent sure that you are a Christian, ask yourself : have i honesty commited my life to Him as my Savior and Lord? If so, you know by faith that you indeed a child of God.
The emphasis here is on God's will, not our will. When we communicate with God, we dont demand what we want; rather we discuss with Him what He wants for us.
If we align our prayer to His will, He will listen; and we can be certain that if He listen, He will give us a definite answer.

It is easy to say we love God when that love doesnt cost us anything more then attendance at religious service. But the real test of our love for God is how we treat the people right in front of us_our family members and fellow believers.
We cannot trully love God (whom we cannot see) while negecting to love those who are created in His image (whom we can see).

Do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see. If the spirit they have from God? Means that we shouldnt believe everything we hear just because someone says it is a message from God.
There are many ways to test it, one is to check to see if their words match what God says in the Bible, other test include their commitment to the body of believers, their life-styles, and the fruit of their ministries.
But the most important test of all, says John, is what they believe about Christ. Do they teach that Jesus is fully God and fully man? Our world is filled with voices claiming to speak fo God. Give them these test to see if they are indeed speaking God's Truth.

But the most important test of all, says John, is what they believe about Christ. Do they teach that Jesus is fully God and fully man? Our world is filled with voices claiming to speak fo God. Give them these test to see if they are indeed speaking God's Truth.

If your conscience is clear, you can come to God without fear, confident that your requests will be heard. John reaffirms Jesus' promise that whatever we ask for will be given to us.
You will receive if you obey and do what pleases HIM because you will then be asking in line with God's will.
Of course this doesnt mean that you can have anything you want, like instant riches. If you are truly seeking God's will, there are some request you will not make.

Ketaatan Menunjukan Persahabatan Kita dengan Kristus(1Sam15).. C.Spurgeon
Berapapun yang dapat kita berikan, kita berkewajiban untuk memberikannya dengan sukacita. tapi jika kita berpikir bahwa setiap pemberian dapat berfungsi sebagai pengganti ketaatan pribadi, kita salah besar.
Membawa kekayaan dan tidak menyerahkan hati kita adalah seperti memberi kotaknya dan mencuri perhiasannya. Betapa beraninya kita membawa korban kita dengan tangan kusta? kita sendiri harus dibersihkan dalam darah penebusan sebelum kita dapat diterima, dan hati kita harus diubah sebelum persembahan kita dapat menjadi murni di mata Allah.
Yang lain telah membayangkan bahwa mereka harus menunjukan keramah-tamahan kepada Kristus dengan beberapa tindakan hebat dari mempermalukan diri sendiri, kususnya dimasa lalu, dipercaya bahwa 'Kesengsaraan dan upah berjalan bersama--alhasil orang menyiksa diri supaya mereka dapat menyenangkan Allah'. Selama berhari-hari mereka tidak mandi percaya bahwa dengan cara ini, mereka memperoleh kesucian. Saya tidak percaya bahwa Yesus menganggap seseorang lebih menjadi sahabatNya karena ia kotor.
Beberapa orang memakai kemeja kasar yang terbuat dari bulu kuda. saya tidak merasa bahwa Tuhan Yesus menganggap ini sebagai tindakan bersahabat. bila sahabat kita melakukan hal itu untuk menyenangkan kita, maka kita mungkin akan berkata, 'Tolong biarkan makhluk malang itu mengenakan apa pun yang paling nyaman baginya, dan itu akan paling menyenangkanku'.
Yesus yang penuh kasih tidak senang dengan rasa sakit dan ketidaknyamanan; memaksa tubuh seseorang untuk disia-siakan bukanlah ajaranNya.
Yohanes pembabtis telah menjadi seorang pertapa, tapi Yesus sudah pasti bukan. IA datang 'makan dan minum', seorang manusia diantara manusia. IA tidak datang untuk menuntut kita hidup dalam pertapaan dan biara, kalau tidak IA tidak akan pernah terlihat hadir dalam pesta makan besar.
IA berkata, 'Kamu adalah sahabatKU, jikalau kamu berbuat apa yang KUperintahkan kepadamu' tapi IA tidak memerintahkan anda untuk kelaparan atau memakai pakaian dari karung atau mengasingkan diri. Kesombonganlah yang menciptakan hal-hal ini, tapi Kasih Karunia mengajarkan Ketaatan.

Berjalankah 2 Orang Bersama, Jika Mereka Belum Berjanji? Amos3.. C. Spurgeon
Orang yang tidak menaati hukum-hukum Kristus tidak dapat menjadi sahabatNYA, karena ia tidak sepikir dengan Kristus--itu adalah bukti. Persahabatan sejati tidak ada di antara mereka yang berbeda dalam prinsip awal. Bagaimana bisa ada persahabatan ketika mereka sama sekali bertentangan dalam rancangan, tujuan dan roh? Itu tidak mungkin.
Orang yang tidak menaati Kristus tidak dapat menjadi sahabat Kristus, meskipun ia mungkin mengaku demikian. Ia dapat mengaku menjadi seorang Kristen dalam sikap yang membenarkan diri; dan untuk alasan itu, ia kemungkinan besar adalah musuh Salib.
Ketika orang lain melihat orang ini berjalan menurut hawa nafsunya sendiri, mereka berseru, "Engkau juga selalu bersama sama dengan Yesus, orang Nazaret itu", dan mereka menghubungkan semua kesalahannya kepada agamanya dan dengan segera mulai menghujat nama Kristus.
Tujuan Tuhan lebih banyak dihalangi oleh perbuatan yang tidak konsisten dari orang yang mengaku sebagai sahabatNYA daripada oleh hal lainnya.
